Car crashes and shooting are heard at the parking place of the shopping center „Domina”
Car crashes, broken glass, shooting and stunt tricks– thus this Sunday, 29 August, was spent at the parking place of the shopping center „Domina,” which was the first day of filming dynamic episodes of a movie „Agent Vinod,” produced by the Bollywood. The producing crew started to arrange the parking place from 6am, but episodes were filmed from 8am till 8pm.
The filming process of the movie „Agent Vinod” was continued on 30 August from an early morning. All main characters of the movie participate in episodes filmed at the shopping center „Domina” and they were dubbed by the stunt performers from St.Petersburg. It is known already that Jānis Kirmuška, the actor of the Latvia Puppet Theatre, will be seen in a small episode – he will be a member of a gang. Names of other Latvian actors are not revealed yet, as the casting are still open.
The movie is produced by the studio „Illuminati Films” from India in collaboration with Film Angels Studio. It pictures a secret agent who receives information while being in India, that his friend has died in a weird situation in Russia. The secret agent immediately goes off to find out the truth. A young, beautiful woman is traveling with him. They travel through different countries, including Latvia, and this is a dangerous trip, full with unexpected turns and surprises. Main characters are performed by popular actors in Bollywood - Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor, who is a representative of the most famous Indian actors’ dynasty.
As producer’s group informed us, the location was chosen after being introduced with several locations in Riga. The „Domina” was chosen as one of these locations, because producers thought it is not just a good shopping center, but also an excellent location to film some action episodes.
This enormous project of the Bollywood is being filmed in India, Morocco, France and Russia as well. Filming in Latvia is planned till 22 September. Producers plan to release the movie in summer 2011.
