The first stage of the Domina Shopping center was opened in September 2003. The shopping center was fully completed in October 2004. It currently hosts more than 160 fashion stores, public catering points and service providers. The shopping center also houses a 12-aisle bowling alley, fitness and beauty centers, as well as office space of more than 2000 square meters. The total floor space of the Domina Shopping center is 110 000 square meters, with the shopping area taking up more than 42 000 square meters. The shopping center has a multi-storey parking lot for about 2000 vehicles.

The premises of the shopping center were constructed partly integrating the former VEF factory building, which was rebuilt according to the latest architectural tendencies. Architects, designing engineers and builders from several countries successfully cooperated to create a shopping center with large open spaces, circular shaped galleries with many benches, white floors and bright lighting.

Currently the Domina Shopping center is the leading fashion centre in Riga, providing not only a wide variety of shopping options to its visitors, but also a chance to experience positive emotions, new knowledge and interesting leisure opportunities.

The Domina Shopping center provides a vast variety of goods: from the fashionable clothing and footwear to interior items and domestic electronics. Domina Shopping is very proud to offer both: world known brands, as well as brands which have entered the Latvian market for the fist time. In addition, it is possible to purchase fashion goods created by Latvian designers. Thus, the shopping center promotes the development of Latvian fashion industry. Also visitors of Domina Shopping have an opportunity to choose from extravagant accessories and interesting footwear.

Domina Shopping provides not only convenient and various shopping options, but also is a place for new and inspiring ideas that gives a positive impulse to its visitors. The shopping center hosts seminars for future mothers „Gaidību 4dienas”, Kidding Days that offer educational and entertaining activities for children, and „Mantinieks”, the annual exchange place for school items that every time gathers several thousand schoolchildren and their parents. Also there is one of the biggest Latvian fashion designers shop project „Paviljons”. Domina Shopping cares about visitors’ comfort and entertainment opportunities by offering musical concerts, show rooms of new Latvian fashion designers clothing collections, free puppet shows, and other activities.

Domina Shopping is owned by the German real estate investment fund „ KanAm Grund Kapitalanlagegesellschaft mbH”. Domina Shopping is located next to one of the main highway in Riga’s district of Purvciems. The gorgeous internal architecture with wide, open areas, a glass roof and many benches insures positive emotions for the visitors and gives the impression of "city within a city".
